Need help getting over my shyness

I love to go hiking and explore new areas. I love to get off trails to see what I can find. I haven`t been hiking like I I once did because I live in the middle of a desert with sagebrush as far as the eye can see, but I once in the mountains and loved to go up there and hike, explore, and just relax. I live in Wyoming and hiked the Windriver range quite a bit. I`ve never gotten to far because all the people I hike with are all whimps, but even the short hikes I took with them were usually enough to satisfy my need for another week.
