looking for someone down to earth

Hello there. I guess I'll start out by stating the obvious. I really like to hike. I think we all know the thrill of walking a new trail, rounding each corner and being greeted by new sights, sounds and smells. Or what about strolling along a cherished favorite old trail perhaps as a way to clear your head or just to forget the madness of the "real world" for awhile. I'm looking for someone to share these things with. Someone who likes to hoist 30 or 40 pounds on their back and set out for a few days of worry free bliss. I'm a hopeless romantic but not to a fault. I like to read and have conversations on just about everything under the sun with the exception of television. I don't quite understand our societies morbid fascination with the train wreck lives of tv and movie stars. I just don't get it. I also enjoy spending time at home believing in the importance of cultivating a meaningful home life. If you're interested in creating something real and deep I just might be the one you're looking for. Just remember to bring your sleeping bag!
