Let's get lost in the woods

My idea of a perfect day would be waking up early with the sun, taking a dip in the lake to wash up, running back to a campfire to get warm, preparing a country breakfast in a cast-iron skillet over an open flame, laying back down on top of my sleeping bag with a full belly of eggs, sausage, and homefries, getting up an hour later an set out on an all-day canoe/hike trip, stopping along the way to swim in the hot noon-day sun, returning back to base camp some time later, sitting around the fire with some cold beers sharing stories, having a scrumptious dinner consisting of a juicy steak, with corn-on-the-cob, and potatoes cooking in foil buried in the embers, washed down with a few more cold beers, sitting around the campfire with some gentle guitar music and sing-a-long, perhaps catching some fireflies in a jar, a late night dip in the lake, and then falling asleep wrapped up in my sleeping bag in front of some warm coals...just to wake up and maybe do the same thing again the next day.

Yep, that would be a pretty good day indeed.
