Need help getting over my shyness

I love to go hiking and explore new areas. I love to get off trails to see what I can find. I hike when I may. Used to it more before I ended up in a zone with no mountains very close by. Essentially whenever I get the chance to go to some place where there is hiking. I most enjoy hiking in the desert. The deserts of Southern Utah are particularly enjoyable when I can get down that way.
